Haarstruktur verbessert. Das zeigt sich zum Beispiel in einer Studie aus dem klinischen Forschungslaboratorium New Jersey.

Prof. Dr. Augustin vom Universitäts-Klinkum Hamburg untersuchte 55 Frauen mit dünnen und brüchigen Haaren, denen er sechs Monate lang täglich kolloidales SiO2 verabreichte. Er stellte dabei fest; Nachweislich dickeres Haar, sichtbar mehr Volumen, deutlich gesünderes Aussehen.
